I've recently received that Mac and reinstalled Mac OSX Tiger. Now I've tried multiple browser and none of them worked except Camino. I know that camino contains security flaws and thats why I'm here asking for help.

Problem : When I start the installation after extracting it, I get the error

You cannot use TenFourFox7450.app with this version of Mac OS X.

Then nothing happens.
I tried many browsers and many of their versions to have an enjoyable browser. I also tried many TenFourFox releases but nothing seems to work for my Mac.

My skill level in Macs is not high but I'm Professional with PC.
I'll send you additional info if needed.

Joel, are you sure you have 10.4 or higher installed? Are you sure it's updated to 10.4.11? You can see this in the Apple Menu->About This Mac.

Also, make sure to unzip the download with the built-in OS X utility (right-click, Open With… BOMARchiveHelper (10.4) or Open With… Archive Utility (10.5)).

I can't update the OS to 10.4.11 from 10.4 (8A428) maybe thats the cause. I
    am using BOMARchiveHelper.
I'll search up some more about this error on the internet

Apple Menu -> Software Update… will update you to 10.4.11 (free). If you're using anything older than 10.4.9 you won't be able to run TenFourFox no matter what.

I successfully installed Mac OS X 10.4.10 and TenFourFox now work!
It helped when you reminded me that TenFourFox work on other versions than
    10.4.11.

    Thanks!

Good to know it worked. May ask why you didn't update to 10.4.11? I'm asking for the reason that – while TFF will run on 10.4.10 – we don't support or test anything older than 10.4.11. If you're running into problems that only exist on 10.4.10 we can't fix them for you.

I did not install OS X 10.4.11 because the update crash unexpectedly after downloading it via Software Update.

I tried to know what's causing it but I can’t find it.

Okay, if 10.4.10 works for you, just leave it at that. If you re-install the system one day, try to update to 10.4.11 right away because you'll have a broader choice of software (10.4.11 being the minimum requirement for many applications). I'll close this ticket now, just re-open it if you have further questions regarding this topic.

I already did a clean Mac OS X install and couldn’t install the lastest update (10.4.11).

So I just won’t ever install that one. Probably a hardware failure. It hard to tell when the error tells you nothing.

    Thanks again.

Misterious. Well, if you ever want to try again, use the combo update from the Apple website. You can download and install it without using Software Update.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/dl170
It will update you from your original 10.4.0 (or 10.4.2 or whatever you have) install disk or even your 10.4.10 installation to 10.4.11 in one go.
