Dear TFF: A thought just occurred to me that might make the QTE work better. Is it possible to make a 'Perian' version that would enable QTE to open all video types, by just increasing the number of mime-types that it sees? Even for WebM, perian is much faster and it would open up so many other types like FLV. Just a thought!

I would be interested in any workarounds to enable TFF more functionality in displaying video and sound files...

Adam and mch, if you have Perian installed, QTE will use it (since it's using QuickTime Player to do the decoding and transport). "Open Media in QuickTime" will open anything in QTE, including WebM, though this depends on how the server identifies itself (for example, this doesn't really work right with YouTube for technical reasons due to the way Google embeds the WebM -- the H.264 native support is better anyway).
