Hi,
First thanks for all the work you're doing, I'd have thrown away that old Imac id you had not.
I have a suggestion but I am too muuch of a noob to know if that is even possible :
Recently I have started to use on my old smartphone Puffin Browser and I was amazed by how fast it was compared to Firefox for mobiles. The reason is that they compress all the incoming data. Couldn't something like that be done ?

Thanks again

It could, but it would require running a lot of infrastructure on my/our end to do the compression, since the whole point is not doing it on the client itself. Unfortunately that's not something I have the resources to manage, and it defeats the purpose of having a browser the Power Mac can run itself without assistance.
