"Check for Updates"/Automatic Updater
Any chance the "Check for Updates" function could actually update the software, instead of pointing you to the homepage to download it manually? The task is not beyond my skillset, but the rate of update notifications (or perceived rate, as I don't use my G5 a whole lot anymore) is mildly annoying. If that's too much to ask, I'll shut up and go back to my own little corner of the Internet--because the work you do in keeping an updated browser running for PPC is incredible.

It's on the to-do list. The code already exists; the issue is setting up the infrastructure and the move to SourceForge complicates things a little. But one of these days, yes, that's the goal.
