TenFourFox 10.0.6 on OS X 10.4.11. I have abandoned Apple's Safari
browser but have run into a problem. TenFourFox 10.0.6 will not
play Flash video, nor Java-based video. There are a bazillion
add-ons available, and one or more of them will almost certainly
solve the problem. But which ones?</p>
<p>If add-ons cannot allow play of Flash video, what is a method to
do so when using TenFourFox 10.0.6?</p>
<p>If I am asking the qrong questions, please respond as though I
had asked the right ones.</p></div>Lancetag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/179769192012-08-13T01:02:00Z2012-08-13T01:02:00ZHow to play - or download for play from hard drive - Flash video?<div><p>Depending on the site, you can try the QuickTime Enabler:
<a href=
"http://code.google.com/p/tenfourfox/wiki/QuickTimeEnabler">http://code.google.com/p/tenfourfox/wiki/QuickTimeEnabler</a>
This works for sites such as YouTube and for many types of HTML5
video. However, some sites will not work with it.</p>
<p>Mozilla also offers some Flash video downloaders from <a href=
"http://addons.mozilla.org/">http://addons.mozilla.org/</a> and the
video files they generate are generally playable with tools such as
Perian.</p>
<p>TenFourFox has not supported Flash since version 6, and because
Flash is no longer updated for PowerPC, will not ever be supported
in the future.</p></div>Cameron Kaiser
