I previously (before the reset) had it set to DL and leave the opening of the file to me (in case I wish to open it another volume or something). Where in TFF can I select what to do with DLed RARs, ZIPs, etc.?

Thanks!

Carntag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/439708202017-11-07T10:24:50Z2017-11-07T10:24:50ZDLed a .rar archive, it opened automatically

Go to Preferences>Applications. You may have to search a bit, the entries may be under 'rar' / 'zip' or under the name of the application these file types are associated with on your system.

Chris (chtrusch)tag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/439708202017-11-07T10:38:58Z2017-11-07T10:38:58ZDLed a .rar archive, it opened automatically

Yeah, that's where I expected to find it, but I only see 8 types of content listed there:
irc
ircs
maiito
Web Feed

(Entering "rar" in the search field there gives no results)

Any idea what's going on here?

Carntag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/439708202017-11-08T02:22:01Z2017-11-08T02:22:01ZDLed a .rar archive, it opened automatically

OK, I see now what happened: when I started the DL, a dialog box opened asking me if I wanted to open or save the file. I unthinkingly allowed it to open the file upon completion, which it did, onto the desktop, rather than onto my preferred save-to volume.

Carn
