How do I transfer Bookmarks to another computer? PowerBook G4 to MacBook Pro?

Hello, in TenFourFox, just go to your Bookmarks library (Bookmarks>Show All Bookmarks) and export them to HTML ("Export Bookmarks to HTML"; see screenshot). Move the saved .html file to the new computer and import it in Firefox ("Import Bookmarks from HTML"). HTML bookmarks can be imported into any modern browser.

So, if these two computers are not connected, can the
created file of bookmarks be moved via USB flash to
the new one from the older?

    I've a similar situation, from G4 MINI 1.5GHz to a new
Late 2012 i7 2.3GHz quad core (server) MINI, & not sure
which OS X was installed by Apple. For me, that will
make a difference as I don't want to connect the two.

Also, I'd like to archive the bookmarks from FF out of
the computer; perhaps to use when I restore another
& wish to include the extensive bookmark collection.

    Thanks! :)

Yes, you can use a USB flash stick to tranfer the bookmarks file. If you want to archive your bookmarks, you can just export them to HTML.

*Thanks for the reply. And it did OK because new empty folders
in Bookmarks were of the same name, as those Imported; and I
managed to move their content over into new folders & delete old
from within the new FireFox version in the later model Mac.

Now to see about finding adequate drivers for some printers
that work OK in vintage OS X; more recent drivers tend to
make for poor results and less features, further obsoleting a
fair printer. Is it a contest is who will arrive at the bottom, first?

    Best regards! :)
