I'm using 10.0.7 on a G5PPC iMac and am being prompted to update to 10.0.8 - when I click to upgrade I'm just returned to the home page.

What am I doing wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong; there is indeed no way to update in place. Upgrades require downloading the new version. Sorry about that.

It is on our worklist to set up an update server and hopefully fractional updates, but that requires a lot of engineering time and it's already a big job just keeping Firefox compatible with 10.4. Hopefully this is something we can improve in the future.

You might want to hold off on the 10.0.8 update, however, because we will probably have to push out a 10.0.9 for an urgent security issue (I'm waiting for an update from Mozilla before I make it official). If we release it, I will probably make it available later today.

Great, thanks - I'll hold off.

Many thanks for your efforts with TenFourFox - it is much appreciated.

10.0.9 has been released. Also watch for the 17 beta, as it will replace 10 in a few weeks. Good luck! (You only need to reply to this if you wish to reopen the ticket.)
