I'm not sure I understand what TenFourFox actually is supposed to do? The whole reason I can't use Firefox any more is that it no longer supports Flash or Java. But neither does TenFourFox. At least with Firefox, java and Flash work, but slowly and supposedly as a security risk. With TenFourFox they don't work at all. What does switching to TenFourFox do for me??

If your primary need for a browser is something that can run Flash, you need, simply put, a new computer. Flash has not been updated for PowerPC for some time, and has some known serious security deficiencies. You will need an Intel Mac to continue using it. TenFourFox can't help you there. The same thing applies to Java.

What TenFourFox does offer you is a browser with up-to-date security patches that also has much more up-to-date image, HTML5 and scripting support. For example, banking and billpay can be done much more safely in TenFourFox. Many videos can be watched with the built-in WebM support or the optional QuickTime Enabler.

If this doesn't help you with the sites you prefer to use, or you must use Flash for the services you want to access, then you have no other choice but to get a new computer; ending Power Mac Flash support was Adobe's decision, and there is no free alternative with sufficient support to recommend in its place.
