public library wifi redirect page & tenfourfox?
The local library has free wifi using wpa & wpa2. I can connect with my powerbook G4. When opening the browser, you're supposed to get redirected to a library page and click on accept to acknowledge their pubic wifi disclaimer and rules. Tenfourfox isn't opening this page and I wondered if I need to change something in the settings. Thanks

Jaeson, when you say 'isn't opening this page', what do you mean? Do you get a blank page, or any kind of error message?

These are the library's instructions for connecting to their wifi:
https://www.schlowlibrary.org/contact/help/access-wifi
My powerbook g4 with 10.5.8 shows their wifi and I can connect with WPA2 (it also connects if I try just WPA).
The next part of their process is to open a browser. If you enter a webpage, it should first redirect you to their accept terms and conditions page, then you can access the internet. Some hotels do this too.
When I try opening a page in Tenfourfox, it eventually times out and says something like it can't connect.
So I thought maybe something in tenfourfox was blocking the redirection to their acceptance page. I turned off the ad blocker but it still didn't work.

A screenshot of the browser showing the 'can't connect' message would be helpful. Which version of TFF are you on (click TenFourFox > About TenFourFox)? Does the terms and conditions page load in Leopard Webkit?

I won't be back to the library until next week. I'm running the latest version of TFF for the G4 7450.
This is my PowerBook model:

I do have webkit installed, but mostly use TFF. My webkit may not be the latest version. I will check and update it before the next visit to the library.
I will also take some screen shots during my next visit.
