TFF fpr14 downloads from sourceforge always fail
Well, I tried 30 times to download TFFfpr14 from sourceforge, using TFF fpr13 and TFF Downloader, but download never starts from all the mirrors, sometimes it starts, but after a few minutes it regulary fails. WHY? Particulary TFF Downloader fails due to 54 error invalid checksum. WHY?I'm using a MAC PPC G4 7450 with an intenet at 300 KBps. too slow?

The Downloader is only offered to users on browsers that cannot download from a TLS 1.1 or higher host. If you visit the TenFourFox page with TenFourFox, TenFourFox is TLS 1.2 compatible, and the Downloader is not necessary.
To the original poster: the Downloader uses completely different networking code than TenFourFox. If neither of them work to download the current version of TenFourFox, then it's very likely to be something on your local computer or your network. The error code you're seeing is due to a timeout which caused the connection to be terminated. 300Kbps should be fast enough, so I don't think that's the problem. I would look at your router and other computers on your home network. If they can download without difficulty, then it's something about that specific Mac, possibly hardware or a bad system configuration.

I'd like to add two thing regarding downloads from SourceForge.
1) If you're using an ad blocker that prevents SF from displaying its "accept cookies/privacy" overlay then the "download will start shortly" countdown will never start because it's initiated by clicking the "accept" button on that same overlay. You can switch off your ad blocker for SF or disable javascript or click "problems downloading" to proceed. (This condition may only be applicable to EU citizens or people otherwise affected by the GDPR.)
2) If a SF download "fails", choose Tools>Downloads and click the "re-download" circle; most servers will simply resume the download at this point. This seems to be a timeout condition I see regularly on my (very slow) G3 Macs, sometimes I have to click "re-download" five or six times, but I've always managed to download TFF completely this way.
