Repeatedly stuck in Facebook

Since upgrading I continually get stuck in Facebook when I try to "like" a post. How can I revert to my previous version of TenFourFox. I never had this problem before upgrading. I now have Parity Release 4 (SPR 1).

   Thanks Cameron. I guess I'll have to wait for 6 then. I read the
   discussions but don't really understand the fix discussed: switching
   between CG and Cairo? What is that and how do you do it, other than
   restarting the browser? I have restarted the browser many times after
   this happens and it keeps happening anyway.

   If you're not sure how to change settings in about:config I don't recommend that you do, given that changing the setting incorrectly can cause the browser to misbehave. The "restarting" part came after making the change suggested in that thread. However, the change suggested can make some graphic operations slower, which is why I haven't generally recommended it.

   If, however, the browser is completely unusable unless you manage to work around this issue (please note that Facebook doesn't perform well on any Power Mac anymore), then this document explains what about:config is and how to change settings. http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config

   Yes, I get that frozen state in FB too. I have been for the last 3 or 4 versions. If I'm nimble, I can just 'Like' the post without the lozenge (with the emoticons) coming up. If THAT happens, the lozenge is blank, and the browser just cycles (beachballs). I'm glad to know this is being addressed. As much as I detest FB (massively), I do have to deal with it on behalf of some clients of mine. Other than that, Parity 5 release is working MUCH smoother! Thanx all for ALL the hard effort.

    Thanks for the note. FPR6 completely fixed the 'Like' issue enough to
    be usable again AND is FASTER everywhere else. Facebook in general
    however, continues to be a hopeless case.
