The delete key does not function properly on the facebook comment entry area. It only deletes one character then does not work again. It also does not delete a surname when chosen from the suggestion window. This only occurs with Tenfourfox and has been this way for many revisions. Tested on the same machine with Roccat & it works as expected.

    I have long seen this behavior as well. 10.4.11 G4 desktop dual mirrored doors, also the 45.6.0 7450 stable build.

    "version": "45.6.0",
        "buildID": "20161209222136",
        "userAgent": "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0 TenFourFox/7450",
        "safeMode": true,

    Same behavior without safe mode.

    Aside: While I understand the aversion to Facebook's policies and do not disagree, AS A TESTING ISSUE FOR A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER the site's popularity means your efforts to track this 104f bug down would be appreciated by nearly every one of your customers. So thank you for creating a test account on Facebook for this purpose if none other.

    I'm going to be painfully direct on this so there is no ambiguity on what people can expect me to do about this issue right now: nothing.

    TenFourFox was created so that I could have a browser to use on my Power Mac. That's its only purpose. The fact it is useful to others means I'll support it to the extent I'm willing to do so, but I'll decide the priorities I choose. I wouldn't attempt to fix a problem like this on a porn site or any other site I find objectionable either. You don't pay me to use this browser and if you disagree with the way it's maintained and built, you don't have to keep using it.

    In particular, the word "customer" is wrong, plain and simple. You aren't my customers; you didn't pay me a dime for this. Whatever level of support exists is purely at my discretion.

    Further statements of disagreement or complaint about this policy will be deleted because frankly I'm tired of reading them. Please don't even bother replying in that case.

    Right now I'm dealing with the 45.7.0 respin -- which I might add is several hours of work and about ten hours of compute time you're not paying me for either -- and I'll look at this problem later when I can reproduce it in a manner to my satisfaction.

    As for me Cameron, I just appreciate the work and your skills in making this a viable browser for our old outdated machines at least that's what apple says lol. But I still use my G4 7450 mac mini everyday and it's still rock solid after all these years and I bought mine used. As I said earlier in a post I accept some glitches and bugs and find ways to deal with them and report them if absolutely necessary you are a guy just like the rest of us your time on this project is appreciated by me and I'm sure others here.

    Many Thanks Brian S.

    My apologies if I inadvertantly struck a nerve, Cameron. Rest assured, such was NOT my intent. Wanted to corroborate others' findings, confirming the bug exists on desktops too if nothing else.

    The aside was just that. `Customers' is how I see myself, and hopefully others do as well when they pay you compliments or simply say, "Thank you."
