tff 45.5.0 does not access selected site
* i am using an imac g5 - ilife - 1.5gb ram - os x 10.5.8 - safari 5.0.6 \ tenfourfox 45.5.0
* every time i open tff, it does NOT go to the preference home page [yahoo.com] nor does it go to the bookmark of the same site. instead it opens EVERY TIME on \br.yahoo.com\, which i do not want. i have not been able to change this or at least have not found the right way to have tff open where i want it to open.
* any ideas or tips appreciated. \\ tom scaletta

Yahoo (like Google) redirects visitors of yahoo.com to country specific sites. This means it detects your IP as being in Brazil. (Being in Germany, I get redirected to de.yahoo.com). If you want the US site, go to us.yahoo.com.

* i'll change the home page preference and see if that fixes the problem. thanks for the tip.
* what is interesting is that only ttf does this. the other browsers i use do not redirect.
* thanks again. regards. \\ tom

* i tried variations on your suggestions, but nothing worked. both safari and tff could not find that site.
* thanks anyway, but i wonder if there is some way to turn off the local feature. if anyone knows, thanks in advance. \\ tom

Strange. If you click here
https://us.yahoo.com/
and find nothing, something is likely wrong with your network.
