FB 1.0 Can't Find TFF
Am running TFF 45.6 under OS 10.5.8:
I had installed FB 1.0 several days ago and it was running fine. After d/l latest update to TFF, when I try to open the FB example for Gmail, I get a message that the applet can't locate TFF 7450e. What has happened here?

Where did you install it? It must be in
/Applications/TenFourFox7450.app

Yes. Both apps are in Applications folder, as they were before 45.6 and are
now.

And is it named exactly that? No spaces, no version numbers?
Assuming it is, open a Terminal window and type
ls -l /Applications/TenFourFox7450.app/Contents/MacOS

(that should all be on one line)

In Applications folder it's listed as TenFourFox7450 45.6. Is the appended
version number the cause of the problem. If so, that's odd, because I have
always listed the version number, because I keep two or more earlier
versions just in case there are problems with the latest release.
BTW, vers 45.6 is very slow to open and *glacially* slow to close, often
requiring a Force Quit after the viewer window closes and refusing to yield
the menu bar back to the Finder. (?)

Yes, the appended number should be removed.
As far as the issue with slow to open, 45 in general will be slower to start than 38, but 45.6 hasn't been any slower on the test systems than any other version of 45, and I can't reproduce hanging on quit. Some users have noted some of their addons were responsible for hangs I couldn't duplicate myself.
