Hello Pasquale, can you give me the exact URL of the website you're trying to load?

First of all, thanks. Thanks, thanks, thanks! I really appreciate your work to keep alive my G5 Quad machine; it wants to live forever, and you make it possible
I´ve been using whatsapp web with no issues, but, since the last TenFourFox update (38.4.0) it shows the looping circle infinitely
Tried everything, even erasing cookies: no way
As I see this thread frozen, with no response from Pasquale, I try to take it back to life, since I have the same issue
The url is web.whatsapp.com
Thank you in advance

It's not us, it's Whatsapp. They're now using an asm.js version of the Curve25519 key exchange system, and asm.js based scripts don't work properly on PowerPC because of different endianness. They used to use a different, more system-generic polyfill, which did work (I remember using it), but they don't anymore. If you downgrade to 38.3, you'll find it still doesn't work anymore.
There is no quick solution to this on the horizon. Optimally when Firefox implements Curve25519 internally, then we can just use that, which should "just work" when Whatsapp changes their code to support it. However, Firefox doesn't support this yet, and may not for some time. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=957105
Bottom line, I can't fix this currently. Sorry.

Thanks for your flashing reply. It's useful; I will not look for a solution wasting my time anymore.
Thank you!

I realize this is a rather old report, but this has been repaired in 45.5.0, which is now available as a release candidate on http://tenfourfox.blogspot.com/ .
