Just wondering whether NoScript is really necessary when TFF FPR9 add block is activated. I am currently using Privacy Badger, Disconnect, HTTP Everywhere and NoScript.

Thanks in advance for your help...

Basic adblock is mostly intended to deal with JavaScript nuisances, which I define as scripts that take up a lot of computing resources and don't contribute to the user experience. Coincidentally, many of these are responsible for advertising and user tracking, but blocking ads and tracking scripts is not its primary aim even though it does that in many cases.

If you use NoScript just to improve the performance of certain sites, then basic adblock is probably more than sufficient (NoScript has some additional overhead of its own).

However, if you use NoScript to ensure that you are comprehensively not being tracked by sites you consider troublesome, you should probably keep it, especially since you can dynamically change it yourself whereas the basic adblock list is internal to the browser and only updated on each release.
