point in the plethora of questions but I can find no mention of
it.</p>
<p>My dilemma is that I replaced my old drive with a new one and
would like to import my old TenFourFox bookmarks into my freshly
installed version on the new drive. Problem is: I can't find them.
Via a drive doc, I am have access to my old drive but the only
bookmarks I can find are at:
users/"mydrivename"/library/mozilla/Profiles/default/ftq9ibwb.sit/bookmarks.html.
Problem is, info for that file reveals it was created and last
opened in 2006. I've been using TenFF right up to Dec 20, 2013 so I
assume the bookmarks data would reflect that date.</p>
<p>If someone could set me on the right path it would be much
appreciated. Am I looking in the wrong place? Is the date of the
bookmarks file irrelevant? Is exporting bookmarks from the old
drive (dreaded, as it would mean swapping out the drives again) the
only way to accomplish this?</p>
<p>Not sure you can answer this but worth a shot: Can I launch my
old TenFF app on my old (not booted) drive without it affecting
TenFF data on my newer booted one? Would the old TenFF use my old
bookmarks or try to access them off the new system drive?</p>
<p>Thanks for any help you can provide.</p></div>Randolph Haacktag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/309370832014-01-06T15:05:15Z2014-01-06T15:09:02ZMigrating bookmarks from old hard drive to new one<div><p>Hello Randolph,</p>
<p>the bookmarks at library/mozilla/Profiles/ are from an old
Mozilla/Netscape/SeaMonkey installation. What you need is<br>
users/"mydrivename"/library/Application Support/Firefox.<br>
It contains all your settings and bookmarks. (Bookmarks are now
stored in a file called places.sqlite. "Bookmarks.html" may still
be present, but it's irrelevant). If you copy the complete Firefox
folder to your new drive, TenFourFox will behave just like you left
it. Just make sure the browser isn't running when you do it.</p>
<p>As to your second question: I'm pretty sure the app would use
the profile in Library/Application Support on your booted drive
because that's the currently active OS X user.</p></div>Chris (chtrusch)tag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/309370832014-01-06T20:37:38Z2014-01-06T20:37:38ZMigrating bookmarks from old hard drive to new one<div><p>Wow...thank you Chris! Your reply was most helpful and you can
consider this matter closed. Not sure why but the first thing I
tried was searching for places.sqlite (as suggested in the FireFox
support pages) but out of five hard drives, not one hit. I must
have repetitively keyed in the wrong spelling. As per your reply, a
simple copy/paste and SUCCESS!.</p>
<p>Also, your suggestion to another user experiencing slow
performance was much appreciated. I deleted all my disabled
extensions (quite a few actually) and TenFF is now much quicker
overall. Thanks for that as well!</p></div>Randolph Haacktag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/309370832014-01-07T03:12:46Z2014-01-07T03:12:46ZMigrating bookmarks from old hard drive to new one<div><blockquote>

<p>Correct, that's exactly what would happen.</p></div>Cameron Kaisertag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/309370832014-01-07T14:22:26Z2014-01-07T14:22:26ZMigrating bookmarks from old hard drive to new one<div><p>Great, glad I was able to help. I'll close this ticket now. If
