Unofficially, you can have as many versions of TenFourFox on
your system as you like. Switching between 17.0.11 and 24.x.0 will
probably work at least for settings, preferences and bookmarks, but
certain add-ons may not like it. And keep in mind that 17 receives
no further security updates, even though the risk of your single
site being compromised and used to attack your browser is obviously
quite low.

Why not, for that other site, use a separate browser altogether
like Leopard WebKit or iCab?

Cameron Kaisertag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/306315822013-12-18T16:43:46Z2013-12-18T16:43:47ZIs it OK to run Ten Four Fox versions 17.1.11 and 24+ on the same OS X installation?

I'm running Tiger most of the time so I can run software that I
use for work, but I will explore other browsers for that one site.
I have tried some other browsers but so far the only one that will
run on my G5 Quad that will also work properly on that site is
TenFourFox. I haven't though, tried iCab,so thanks for the
suggestion.

Thanks for the information too, I'll try a few more browsers and
see if one of them works. I know Camino doesn't but we'll see about
iCab and a few others.

Fire Angeltag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/306315822013-12-18T16:46:15Z2013-12-18T16:46:15ZIs it OK to run Ten Four Fox versions 17.1.11 and 24+ on the same OS X installation?

You could also consider OmniWeb; technically they still support
10.4, though the most current testing versions jumped abruptly to
10.9.

Please note that whatever TenFourFox.next is (be it a modified
24 or 31), the likelihood of there being an incompatibility between
profiles jumps dramatically, so you might only get away with this
once. That's why I'm thinking a totally separate browser may be a
better idea.

Cameron Kaiser
