Netflix
Has netflix switched to HTML5 streaming, yet?
If/when they do, will tenfour fox allow us PowerPC users to stream their content?

In order:
1) The transition is in progress.
2) Probably not. Even though Netflix is going for HTML5 video, they will still want copy control, and they are likely to implement DRM through a new proposed standard called EME. Without getting into the really gory details, EME requires components called Content Decryption Modules to decrypt the video. These components will almost certainly not be open source, nor compiled for PowerPC, so we won't have any control over that. They might allow non-premium content without EME, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
