I would like a blank page when creating new tab or window

Hi All,

I don't like the feature of showing a 'gallery' page of last visited or most visited sites when creating a new tab or window.
Is it possible to turn this off so that a new tab or window shows a blank page?

   Hello David,

   you can switch off the tab gallery by following these steps:

   1) type about:config in the address bar (in one word, no spaces), hit return and confirm you'll be carefull
   2) type newtab in the search field
   3) double click browser.newtabpage.enabled. It will toggle to false
   4) double click browser.newtab.url and set the value to about:blank
   5) Restart TenFourFox.
