Building TenFourFox on 10.5 intel
I'd like to be able to test that my patches to Firefox (eg: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=548763 ) work in TFF as well, but I don't have any PPC hardware I can build on. I do have an Intel Mac that will run 10.5, and therefore PPC binaries.
Is it possible to cross-compile TFF for PPC on Intel hardware?
Is testing an Intel build of TFF sufficient?
Thanks!

Before we begin: I'm trying to restrict Tenderapp to end-user support rather than build or dev support. E-mail, poking me on the blog, or opening a Google Code ticket would be my preferences for build questions (or in the latter case, an actual build issue).
But to answer these questions: you would need to link it against the 10.4 SDK. Also, I don't know of anyone building on Leopard, though at one time that was common, but it has not been tested rigourously since at least 10ESR (your experience is solicited, since I would still like to support this if possible). There are some differences between the 10.4 PPC SDK and the 10.4 x86 SDK as issue 209 demonstrates, mostly due to graphics stack changes.
Looking over https://bug548763.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=720403 I don't see anything obviously problematic, though. No post-10.4 functions jump out at me, though for the record I'm only glancing at it cursorily.
Ping me separately with more questions.
