I was instructed by Intuit that my G5 Tiger (10.4.8) machine would have to have Firefox 3.5 or better to run their program, Turbotax. If I load your TenFourFox browser instead of Firefox 3.5 oe 3.6, will their software recognize it as Firefox. I do not have any Firefox on my IMac now, just Safari 4.1.3.

In general, yes. There are small differences between them, but for the online TurboTax (which is what I'm assuming you're talking about), it shouldn't make a difference.
