You need to
start the browser and then drop the Enabler ".xpi" file on the
browser window.

However, I recommend you actually install Perian first.
Quit QuickTime Player and install Perian, then start TenFourFox and
drop the ".xpi" on the browser window. It will automatically
install.

Cameron Kaisertag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/239889142013-01-22T03:22:19Z2013-01-22T03:22:20ZQuicktime Enabler

Thanks Cameron that worked! The only thing is it does not seem
to have made a difference in viewing videos. I can no longer view
videos in my Youtube channel or at various other sites that
previously worked with Firefox 3.6.28. Is it best to use Firefox
just to watch the videos and TenFourFox for everything else? I'm
assuming there is just no watching Flash videos with TenFourFox as
i would need a plug in for that and TenFourFox does not support
that, is this correct? The Quicktime enabler will allow me to watch
Quicktime movies only. Is this correct?

Thanks!

Irenetag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/239889142013-01-22T03:25:19Z2013-01-22T03:25:19ZQuicktime Enabler

I'll refer you to the documentation (the link you posted) here
for what you can and can't do with it. However, in broad strokes,
you won't be able to see everything because it is not a Flash
replacement, and you'll generally need to take extra steps to see
movies that it does support. Rather than switching back and forth
between Firefox 3.6.28 and TenFourFox, which can sometimes corrupt
settings, you might want to use OmniWeb for Flash instead, which is
still supported (and use TenFourFox for other tasks such as
banking).

Cameron Kaisertag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/239889142013-01-31T03:43:19Z2013-01-31T03:43:20ZQuicktime Enabler

Thanks again Cameron. Your help is most appreciated. I did
download Omniweb and now am able to view videos.

I just have one more question. How do I refresh a page with
TenFourFox? I have tried searching the blog and support pages but
have found nothing.

Cheers

Irenetag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/239889142013-01-31T03:48:30Z2013-01-31T03:48:30ZQuicktime Enabler

In the menu bar you should see a little curled arrow next to the
bookmark star icon. Click that to refresh the page. You can also
press Command-R.

Cameron Kaisertag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/239889142013-01-31T03:48:44Z2013-01-31T03:48:44ZQuicktime Enabler

Er, in the address bar, I mean.

Cameron Kaisertag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/239889142013-02-06T02:57:57Z2013-02-06T02:57:57ZQuicktime Enabler

Thanks! I found it.

Viewing videos is much better now with OmniWeb. I so appreciate
your help.
Many thanks!
