Tool bar icons

I'm on TenFourFox 31 now. Before, I could I could modify the tool bar display to block icons (e.g., use text only). Is that option still available, and if so, where can I find it?

(I've searched the discussions etc. but can't find any related topics.)

Thanks for adding years to my iMac's functional life.

   James, I believe Text Only isn't possible anymore with the new interface. Mozilla did away with a lot of customization options in Australis, sadly. There may be an add-on or a userChrome.css method to do this, but I'm not aware right now of anything particular.

   I was also looking around without success so far.
   Is there anybody outside who has the ability for creating such an add-on ( unfortunately I am only a humble user, but not a programmer).
   Many thanks anyway for your great work which keeps my good old G5 alive.

   I am stuck w/my old iBook G4 (sloooooow) 'cause my MacBook Pro fell during recent 6.0 EQ and won''t take power (dead temporarily) and am grateful for your browser. So, Tool Bar icons could include a 'SHARE' button; I encourage you check this out:
   https://www.addthis.com/get/sharing allows many choices like a drop down with a variety of icons as the Twitter bird, f for FB, etc...
   Also, how do I sign up to be a member?

   Hello David, this thread refers to toolbar icons in the browser's user interface, not icons on websites. We might include social sharing icons here or on the blog or on the TenFourFox home page, but that's Cameron's decision. Since these icons also track users, personally I'm concerned about privacy and have been blocking them for a long time with an Adblock filter list.

   You can create a profile here by clicking "Create a profile" on the top right of the page.
