31 seems more sluggish than 24

    Hello, "seems sluggish" is pretty vague. If you give us some details, we can look into it.

    Pages seem to take longer to load, the app seems to take longer to launch and close...less snappy.
    I'm on a 1.67 G4 PB, 2Gb RAM, OS X.5.8
    I'll check on my DP G5s as well...

    Well, we did actual performance checks (with a stopwatch and using JavaScript tests suites), and they tell us that 31 is at least as fast as 24, in some cases (app quitting, some micro benchmarks) even faster. The problem here is "seems". If you have any actual numbers comparing 24 and 31, that might help us.
