Google ads opt out

Hello, I am using latest version of TenFour Fox on PPC iMac G5 running 10.4.11 Tiger. Opting out of Google ads requires download and installation of software from Google. It is a .xpi file, which is apparently for Firefox. [ gaoptoutaddon_1.0.8.xpi ]. Is this ok to use with TenFour Fox please?

    This is a Firefox extension which probably won't work in TenFourFox. It's probably easier (and more trustworthy) to install an add blocker such as
    https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock-for-firefox-legacy/releases
