Hello!

I'm trying to get in touch with friends in Canada and the US, through voice call. I live in France, and, although I have unlimited call internationally with my fixed-house phone (I do not own a smartphone), US and Canada residents still have to pay in order to receive my calls.
The thing, I currently only own my old Powerbook G4, running with TFF FPR18. (I was about to buy a new computer just before the quarantine...bummer!) and no apps seem to be compatible with OS 10.4. I've tried Jitsi, Skype, Zoom. (Zoom actually works, audio only (see details below* if you're intrested) but I don't wanna use it, due to obvious safety reasons.

Anyone struggling like me at the moment??? I don't need video (it would be awesome, of course) but just basic voice calls would be amazing to connect with some dear friends of mine in these troubled times.

I must say I also own a Ipod Touch from 2012 (G5 I think) and none of these voice/call apps work either (I mean I can't even install them).

Hopefully someone would have an answer to this - although I probably am one of the few human beings still living without smartphone *and* without a up to date computer. Thank you ! Be safe.

*I succeeded login in to a zoom discussion last night. I used Internet explorer 11 as a string agent (the only one that allows this, otherwise ou need to install the zoom app, while here, you can log in in the browser. The audio and video are disabled, but they tell you to dial up a number with your telephone. That's what I did, (with a house phone, again, I don't have a smartphone, and don't want one) and I could listen to the discussion... (I havent tried talking though and do not know if it would work through the phone, but I guess?)
