Loads fine here. Please re-start the browser and try again. Make sure you're using the latest version of the browser. Also make sure you don't have extensions installed which block content; if in doubt deactivate all extensions, re-start the browser and try again.

Still not loading. Funny that it happened from one day to the other. I
didn't install any new extensions and the last 10.4.Fox upgrade went well.
Didn't use my G5 Mac for 10 months though. Lockdown in the Philippines.

Please try loading mbasic.facebook.com. Does this work?

Yes, it works. I get a small strip in the middle of my screen.

But I can't scroll down to see more. The page is dead.

Something is blocking Facebook content 1) on your network or 2) on your computer or 3) in your browser profile. While we cannot solve the first two, we can check 3):
Please click Help > Troubleshooting Information… and restart in Safe Mode, then try again. If it still doesn't load, you can try resetting your profile. Also please empty the cache: In the Finder, go to Macintosh HD>Users>Your User Name>Library>Caches>Firefox and delete the Profiles folder inside.

Thank you. I could open FB in my old Safari browser but the text is too
small and the photos are huge. I'll check my profile. Still love 10.4.fox
and my quadcore G5.

Deleting the profiles folder did the trick. I was very surprised about how
many files were deleted. It took more than 10 seconds to delete tens of
thousands of files.

After shutting down my Mac earlier I started it up just now and Facebook is
empty again.

I'm sorry I don't have any more troubleshooting options for you.

Hi Chris,
This is the window I get when I click on the Messenger icon on the
otherwise empty 10.4.fox FB page.
Cheers, Jörg.

I'm sorry, I still cannot replicate any of this, even if I switch the FB language to 'Nederlands' (there might have been a localization problem, but there isn't). Your FB account may be in some kind of restricted mode, or you may be on a network that blocks parts of FB. There is probably nothing we can do from within the browser.
Just out of interest: Please visit
https://www.whatsmyua.info/
copy the useragent string in the blue text box (it starts with Mozilla/) and paste it here.

All working again. Backed up my boot HD and overwrote it with an older CCC
cloned version. The FB fail will remain a mystery. Thanks for your work.
Keep the PPC oldies alive and kicking. Great hardware, too.
