Since I installed the latest version of TFF, Parity Release 12, on my G5 I can no longer view HTML5 video. Is there a fix for this? If not I'll have to revert to the previous version.

I received a message that a new version of TenFourFox was out, and tried it to see if YouTube finally works. Still NO.

The fix is to switch to Google's Stainless 0.8. It is their version of Chromium for PPC computers.

If attached file doesn't appear, try here:

Don't attach software here, please. We're here for free and the site isn't designed for that. I've removed the download.

Issues with YouTube and general HTML5 video aren't necessarily the same thing. If you want to provide more details, please do so.

    Why not:

    1) Remove the encouragement to add relevant files from the site if
    they are not wanted?

    2) Finally add to TenFourFox the major capability so many are hoping for?

You don't pay me for this browser and you didn't provide any additional details before simply ordering me around, so I hope Stainless works well for you.

I'm not interested in engaging in "flame wars"

I have several items of software and hardware that only work on PPC.
One is a Nikon slide scanner, that produces the best results when
using Nikon software. It CAN be used on an Intel Mac with VueScan,
but the results are very inferior.

I d/l'ed TenFourFox G5 FP 12, and found that the YouTube site is not
viewable with it, on a G5 Mac running Leopard or Tiger.

I checked to see if anybody else had the problem, and found that it
was widespread. I posted my workaround for the accesssing the YouTube
    site.

I was offered the option of u/l'ing a file, so I did.

I NEVER told you to do anything, and didn't order you around in anyway.

After being chastised for u/l'ing a file, I merely asked why you
didn't remove the option if files were not wanted.

I also asked why you didn't add YouTube compatibility.

And I certainly acknowledge that you don't owe me any answers, and
    you needn't add any features.

My basic interest was helping someone with the exact same problem by
    suggesting a workaround.

The problem was widespread in an earlier version. The pref needed was flipped. I'm watching a YouTube video in FPR12 right now. If you're seeing something different, please advise (you still haven't).

You didn't suggest a workaround, and you didn't just suggest people use something else. Instead, you uploaded a whole new browser. Besides taking up space on this site that we use for free at the generosity of Tenderapp, I can't imagine why you would think that would be appropriate on the support site for another browser. Please use Stainless and I'm glad it works for you.
