Sourseforge display issue / PDF JS issue / Google Photos Video issue

Hey there,

as the topic says, I've encountered 3 issues with the latest FPR 11 version:

1. first of all, the SourceForge website is not being displayed correctly, thus making impossible to download the TenFourFox browser. I always have to use a newer computer to download it.
2. second, the PDF JS built-in add-on stopped working at all. Because of the issue 1 it is also impossible to reinstall PDF JS, because on any other, newer browser it will ask you to install it into this very browser, so you cannot save it to a flash drive.
3. when someone sends a video via Google Photos, there comes an error after clicking on the play button.

Any help is very much appreciated!

Cheers!
Andreas

    1) Looks like the SourceForge CSS wasn't downloaded completely. Please try again. Make sure View>Page Style>Basic Page Style is selected and no add-on (adblocker, content blocker) is interfering. I have TFF FPR11 7450 downloading from SF in another tab as I'm typing this, no problems.

    2) Pdfjs isn't an add-on, it cannot be installed or uninstalled. I't part of the browser. Make sure it's enabled: Preferences>TenFourFox>Use built-in PDF viewer.

    3) I don't use this service and am unaware of the system requirements. If it needs anything other than web.m for playing video it won't work in TFF. Do you have an example (link to a video)?

    Hi Chris,
thank you for the quick reply.
Turns out, I've had also an old Firefox version installed and apparently somehow TFF was in conflict with it. Uninstalled both, reinstalled TFF and PDF JS works perfectly now! Also, the SF page loaded as it should after disabling Adblock Plus.

    Cheers!

Correct, Firefox 3.x and TenFourFox cannot be run on the same Mac OS X user except if you're using separate Firefox user profiles. Firefox 3.x will destroy data (settings and bookmarks) from TFF as soon as it's started.
