I am currently (the last 3 to 4 months) been having routine that wiil not finish but become inactive while loading a website page. They show up in my "most visited" on the toolbar.
They are:
moz-extension://56c7e1ec-98e6-48b5-bf0c-c5d4b5a37002/_blank.html

moz-extension://efe8049b-6540-4d36-82a0-aa94930f6d51/_blank.html

moz-extension://08400b96-8568-4897-a189-35ebb93f6e0c/_blank.html

While the browser is in loop it displays "Chrome:" and then more file info

The moz-extension: scheme is for WebExtensions. TenFourFox doesn't support them and you should not have been able to install it. What version of TenFourFox is this?

    Cameron,
I have just installed the newest update to TenFourFox, but the problems
with these routines locking everything up has been on going for about 3
or four months.  I have NOT installed them.  I think different webpages
are using a Chrome base of some kind and this is a symptom of the
    websites.

counsel you with my loving eye on you.”—Psalm 32:8
