About an hour ago, 10-4-fox decided it would not connect to google, yahoo etc.
The owner of www.google.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, TenFourFox has not connected to this website.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that TenFourFox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

Phill, please make sure your Mac has the correct date and time on the clock top-right in the menu bar.

I am in the middle of a restore from a dead machine and needed to do a
'back in time' to check accounts etc.

    Regards,

    Phill.

You're welcome. The logic behind this is that https connections are secured by certificates which have a validity period. If your computer "lives" outside this time frame, the certificate is invalid, thus the browser will refuse to establish a secure connection.
