Hello. I have installed the 45.9.0 update on a mac ppc G5.
I have defined the Qwant Browser as default browser. I have also removed duckduckgo, ebay, bing and yahoo.
But since the update, when I quit and open again TenFourFox, Qwant disappears and duckduckgo, ebay, bing and yahoo are back...
Can you help me ?
Thank you.
Have a Nice Day,
Jacques,
from France.

Hello, do you mean you installed Qwant as your default search engine? Did you install an add-on to do this? Please clarify.

    Hello.

This is what I did :

TenForFox preferences > Search > Add another browser > when I click, a new tab is opened : https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/search/?atype=4

I choose Qwant in the list (see the attached image) and define it as my default search engine in TenForFox preferences.

And I delete other browser I don't need (duckduckgo, ebay, bing and yahoo).

    Thank you for everything,

    have a nice day.

I cannot reproduce this problem with TenFourFox 45.9. This kind of problem existed before and was actually fixed with 45.9. If you still experience it with this version, you'll have to reset your profile:

Go to Help Menu>Troubleshooting Information>Refresh TenFourFox… (Informations de dépannage>Réparer TenFourFox) and follow instructions. Then re-install Qwant.

    Hello.

    I did what you said.

It worked but not every time.

Some days, when I open TenFourFox, there is Qwant browser as default browser as I wanted (with other browsers I choosed : google, cnrtl & wikipedia).

And some other days, I have back google, ebay, yahoo, bing, etc. without Qwant when I open TenFourFox... This is a mystery.

I suppose this problem will end with the next upgrade of TenFourFox. I'll deal with it until then.

    Thank you for everything,

    have a nice day,

    Jacques (french version of: Jack).

I's a mystery to me, too. There may be an issue with the Qwant add-on itself. I'm not sure what to do about this.
