I think Dropbox doesn't like .pages files in general. When I
tried to upload a .pages document, Dropbox just viewed the
documents as folders, like it does on a Windows machine.
(I am using iWork '09, Pages 4.0; the last supported version of
Pages for Tiger) So I can't even upload a test file.

Thanks for your reply,

applications). They must be zipped before they're uploaded anywhere
outside the Apple ecosystem.

Chris (chtrusch)tag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/411571762016-11-07T12:26:10Z2016-11-12T08:08:08Z.pages files on DropBox.com

Hello Chris,

Zipping the file before uploading does work, so I guess that is
the
best workaround.
Though I'll probably end up carrying a flash-drive with me.
Thanks for your help,
