ten four fox will not start

hi i have been using the ten four for some time now. it is a wonderful browser . today i called my internet service provider (century link) to complain about the slow speed on my system. they cheat the speed from time to time. she had me push command shift delete and adjust the history...... the ten four never worked after that. in addition i had to rebuild the hard drive system. i then installed a fresh copy of the ten four but it will not start up. the header starts but then the force quit monitor tells me that the ten four is not responding. at this point i am at a total loss, have you any ideas?

    a little more information ,
    there must be a way of removing the ten four from the hard drive. i did remove the application but something remains as the glitch. i am using a g5, and had no problems with the ten four until today. please help if you can

    When you say "Adjust the history" what did you do, exactly, after you pressed Cmd-Shift-Delete? Did you do this in TenFourFox, or in another application?

    What do you mean "never worked after that"? What specifically is it doing, or not doing?

    Simply deleting the application is sufficient to remove TenFourFox. If you're having other issues, it's not due to the browser.

    the changes were made in ten four. they were to delete the history when the program shut down.
    i replaced the ten four with the newest version and with two older ones that i had. each time i trashed the former systems so only one was in the system. each version had the same problem. the ten four starts then for a few moments it seems ok; the page never opens and when you check the force quit monitor it tells you that ten four is not responding; before that time for a split second you can get the pull down menue to work but you can not choose anything before it crashes. since i have replaced the program several times with fresh information i was thinking that there was a file somewhere else in the library that was out of sink. my older browsers are working as they did before so this problem is local to the ten four system i would think; thanks for getting back to me so soon i hope that i can get the ten four back on line soon. it is a wonderful thing to still be able to use this g5 past the time that they have given up on software for it.

    well well i left the ten four on and low and behold after three or four hours it came back on.
    guess although it was not responding it was not just dead yet.

    I'm not sure what happened (perhaps it was just requiring a long period of time to clear the browser history), but I'm glad it's working now.
