Thanks for responding, and thanks for making TenFourFox better and better.
Is there any way to speed it up? I still get the spinning beach ball
sometimes; it freezes up occasionally. How do I empty the cache?

Thanks again.

Hello Liliane, given the age of PPC Macs and the load Firefox/Tenfourfox and modern websites with a lot of Javascript put on our systems there is no way around seeing the spinning beachball occasionally.

Generally, make sure you're only using add-ons that you really need. Go to Tools>Add-ons>Extensions and disable the ones you don't use. When you have lots of add-ons it's also advisable to wait a minute after TFF was started initially before loading websites, especially on slower Macs.

Also, here's an older article on LowEndMac with some tips which are still useful:

Empty the cache this way: Go to Preference>Advanced>Network>Cached Web Content and click Clear Now. It's certainly well hidden.
