Hi, complete total computer moron here... speak slowly for this one at the back please.

I have had TenfourFox going for a few months just fine - when the pop up warning that it was time to upgrade to T4F 38.6.1 came along I did it.

I have a G4 Mac, and uploaded the correct one, 7something50, (I forget and can't backpage without losing text) now everything is turning to pants.

After I had installed it I kept getting the messages about getting the new version. Do these still appear if I have installed correctly? Should I have deleted the older version from Applications first?

Web getting real slow now, pages take aaaaaages to load.and today the spinny rainbow wheel of doom started happening - could have been a crappy website thing as I was filling out an online form, but I think something is not right.

Help please!

Hello Alex, no, you shouldn't keep getting update messages after updating. Click Tenfourfox>About Tenfourfox… and make sure you're on 38.6.1.

    For performance see this thread:

Hi Chris, real kind of you to send me an email, I appreciate it.
I went back in and took out the old Ten4Fox before installing the
new one again and that seemed to do the trick. Thank you
For the links too, very helpful.

    Regards, Alex.
