38.6 constantly crashing
I have a G5, the slowest 1.8MHz processor, and for the last few releases 7450 worked better for me than the release for G5s.
But with the new release, neither version works. Times fonts turn into strings of boxed capital A's, webpages never finish loading, and worst of all:
When TenFourFox crashes now, which it does within minutes of every time I open it, I often can't even force quit, because it seizes the whole computer. I have to shut down the machine.

You've got a few things mixed into this report, so I'll make some general comments:

(As a workaround, you can try going to
about:configand settinggfx.downloadable_fonts.enabledtofalse. Downloadable fonts will not appear, so sites won't look correct, but if that's the problem it should enable them to "work.")3 Posted by Vid Hardt on 12 Feb, 2016 05:12 PM
Thanks. I look forward to the update. I have exactly 2GB of memory.
