Hi there
Im using the 7450 version on my quicksilver and im getting some weird messages from unresponsive scripts at google, and specially the chrome section, and its (.js) files. I have check the about:config section and the value at dom.max_script_run_time was already zeroed...
the thing is those damn scripts just take forever to complete, and TTF becomes absolutly unresponsive to any comand with a high demand on processing time.
The only solution i have found was an addon made by the eff.org, called Privacy Badger (still experimental, similar to ghostery) and block google and ajax.google.apis from cookies to the tracking scene. The question is, what is wrong with google and their apis stuff?
¿bad javascript?
I will upload some screenshot in detail soon.
As far this is the best version of TTF my Quicksilver has seen, man! Thumbs up!

The run time setting affects only receiving the warning about a script taking too long, not the actual time it takes to run itself. Google's various tracking APIs can be very prone to interruption, which generally ends in the page not loading.

If you get warning boxes about chrome scripts (i.e., the browser itself, or other things that run in chrome context such as add-ons), you may need to set dom.max_chrome_script_run_time to 0 also. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Dom.max_chrome_script_run_time

Also, make sure to remove unnecessary addons which can bloat the browser, and sometimes a big stick like NoScript can be handy.

You re right, NoScript is a good baseball bat for those problems... in the other hand, i just check in with the people at that page giving me problems, and they have fix most of them by now.
And i have found that the Ghostery´s setup has a warning about blocking cookies:

    [[[[-Blocking all cookies.

When you block a cookie, selected third-party providers are unable to write cookies to your browser.

Warning! When combined with other cookie monitoring addons such as Beef Taco, Cookie Monster, and Google Opt-Out, this feature can cause unresponsive script errors. If you experience this error, please try disabling this feature or conflicting addons. ]]]]]
