downloading
When I try to download TenFourFox the download stops before it is complete (in both TenFourFox and Safari). How can I get the download to finish? (Note that my internet connection is now very slow, only around 16kBps.)

Oops, that should be 16kbps not 16kBps.

Unfortunately, with very slow connections your link to the download server may time out. A download manager may be able to help you resume the download; one such tool is iGetter ( http://www.igetter.net/iGetter.html ), which is still available for PowerPC. I don't use a download manager, however, so I can't make a specific recommendation.

I used iGetter v2.8.8 with the former version of TenFourFox (v17.0.9), but with the new TenFourFox (version 24.2.0), "download with iGetter" no longer appears in the right-click drop down menu which used to appear when right-clicking a link to a file to download. I believe I have iGetter's prefs properly configured for this drop down option. I don't remember any difficulties with the previous two versions of TenFourFox and iGetter. Maybe there is something in the TenFourFox "Tools>Add-ons" drop down I need to do to insert/enable iGetter in the drop-down?

I'm sorry, I don't use iGetter and have no idea what's going on. Maybe they don't update iGetter anymore to work with newer "Firefox" versions on PPC?

iGetter has a workaround, apparently.
