Hello all! So I may be the only idiot in the entire world (along with the people I know who i've asked) who doesn't know how to figure out what Processor I have... G3? G4? G5? No clue. When I look in "About this mac" it APPEARS to say G2. But google searches do not indicate that this is even a processor at all! I am at a loss.

In any case, I've downloaded the different version of tenfourfox and none of them seem to work very well and all of them claim "unresponsive script".

Help?

Connecticut yankee, go to your Applications folder in the Finder, inside which is a folder named "Utilities". In there is the Terminal app. Start the Terminal and type "machine" (without quotes), then hit return. It will give you a line that reads like "ppc7450". ppc750 means you have a G3, 7400 and 7450 are the two versions of the G4, and 970 is a G5.
