TFF v17.0.7 7450 Preference Pane
This is (for my machine, anyway) a continuation of a problem I had with v 10.x:
Preference pane opens but is non functioning & locked on "Advanced" tab. It cannot be closed except by quitting the browser.
Of course, as long as the Preference pane (or any other pane) is open, both address completion function in address bar & search function are disabled, although bookmarks do seem to function normally.
I would like to solve this as Camino support has ended and I *think* TFF 17.x may be an improvement for my machine...but haven't been able to run through its features yet to find out.

I've never seen this with TenFourFox 10.0.x. Looks like your profile is a bit messed up. You can try updating to TenFourFox 17.0.7 (actually, you should, because 10 is now unsupported, and 17 is much faster and more feature-rich), and see if the problem is still there. If so, let us know, and we'll go through the steps to fix your profile, but first try updating, please.

I did upgrade to v 17, then cleared out ancient profile from FF 3.6.
seemed to have fixed the problem...
