In TenFourFox 17.0.5 text entry in github comments is painfully slow
TenFourFox 17.0.5 on Tiger PPC here, on a 12-inch Powerbook G4.
Go to github, sign in on some project and start a bug report or comment on something. Observe that the lag time between a key press and seeing that letter appear on the screen is about 3 seconds.
I see no similar effects for other sites like this tenderapp text entry box, for instance.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

No, not in other browsers. The only ones I have tried are Safari (on 10.4.11PPC) and "Tiger Webkit".

I have the same behavior in Tenfourfox 20 and Tenfourkit (and all other browsers using the system Webkit as I use it as an updated framework). Github comments work without lag in Camino 2.1.2.
