Follow-up on TFF & LittleSnitch: Which version TFF will cooperate with LittleSnitch

No amount of 'rule' rejiggering in LittleSnitch (LS) will permit TFF to get through. I've looked - but can't seem to find a workaround that'll allow me to use both simultaneously.
I'm sad to have to downgrade (and I have no idea how to downgrade add-ons) but LS is an invaluable tool, and regularly disabling it is pretty impractical, undesirable.
So it is version 8 of TFF that will still get along with LS? Version 9 & upwards are off limits? Is that the sum of it?

I have no experience whatsoever with Little Snitch, maybe Cameron can help here.
