images not loading
I have been unable to see images selected from search results, only a black screen. The website and file name are displayed but no image. I am using TenFourFox 17.0.2 on a PowerBook G4

A screenshot and a specific URL or steps to reproduce would be helpful. Image searches in Google appear normally on all four test systems in 17.0.2.

The new Google image search may be the issue. It does work for me, but Add-ons such as Adblock may interfere.

I have included a screen shot from fanpop.com but the problem occurs
with most but not all websites.
Another response from Chris suggested that the 'new' Google image search
might be a problem or an add-on such as Adblock. I have never downloaded
any add-ons. I do not know anything about the version of Google that is
running.

I can see from your screenshot that you're running the Disconnect add-on (the "d" button). Maybe this interferes, it certainly blocks Google requests. Open the Add-ons Manager (Tools>Add-ons>Extensions) and try disabeling all extensions installed, then re-enable them one by one to see which is the one.

I agree with Chris. I think one of your addons is causing trouble here.

You are correct. I removed the Disconnect add-on and all images now load
properly. Thank you. I was unaware that the add-on was present since I
had not knowingly downloaded it.
