Sheepshaver conflict?
I'm having a problem with SheepShaver 20120715 freezing and have to force quit. My computer: iBook 12"1.33Gzhz with 1.5GB of ram running OS 10.5.8.
I installed TenFourFox7450 17.0.1 yesterday and when prompted added what was needed. I was using Firefox 3.6.28.
I bought the computer used and it had 10.5.8 on it. I don't have 10.4. I use Sheepshaver for Datebook/Touchbase 4. Sometimes before freezing, I open up a calendar item and the bottom half of the Sheepshaver window changes color as if using Universal Access to change the display color, then it freezes. It also sometimes freezes on start up. I tried an earlier version of Sheepshaver (20091025) same thing.
I used Disk Utility to check the hard drive and repair permissions. No change.
Unless you know what's wrong, I have to get rid of it. From what I read, I delete the program, Firefox, Application support Firefox folder, and my profile. (I used Time Machine so I'll reinstall from a previous date) Any preferences to delete? Are the add on's that I was prompted to load in the Firefox folders?
Any ideas? Thanks for your time

Unfortunately, SheepShaver has a habit of randomly crashing (I had similar issues on my Intel Mac mini that doesn't run TenFourFox at all). It's a useful program when it works, but it's a poor substitute for Classic.

This freezing is not random as before and the color change is new. This reminds me of old "extension conflicts."
So you have had no other complaints, and what I said about deleting it is correct? (When I can't do any Banking online I'll have to reinstall)

While I really can't imagine how there is a conflict, yes. The addons are in your profile.
