Accessing the Twitter site using 17.0 is pretty much impossible - every click brings endless spinning beachballs, and scrolling down the page just doesn't work. Even loading the page can freeze everything. I'm assuming it's a Javascript thing - is there any solution (other than using Safari)?

Using 2.1Ghz iMac with 2.5 GB RAM.

I'm not having any such problems. It's not fast, but it is useable.

Slightly better today, if still very slow. Sites like Webstagram, however, are completely unusable yet are OK via Safari.
