number of sites. When i switched to Ten-Four-Fox, I began having
trouble downloading pdf files from many sites. But, I could still
download zip files. After upgrading, I can't even get the zip
files. Sometimes I get an indication that the page does not give
it's identity and/or that communications are not encryted, which
leads me to believe I'm running into some sort of default security
setting, but I'm unable to find it to change it. I may have created
a new profile as part of trying to fix the problem earlier, which
may have made this worse. Right now, I have to forward the emails
contianing the links to anothe computer, download them there (where
I'm still using Mozilla), put them on a thumb drive and bring them
back to my desk top. I previouisly inquied about the pdf issue and
the tech wasn't able to help. I'm hoping for better luck this time.
The page I am running into problems with most often is "quilt-pro"
but it is not the only page where the problem occurs. it can also
occur with other links I receive.</p></div>Ruchama Burrelltag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/197858372012-10-24T23:20:27Z2012-10-24T23:20:27Zdownloads from websites<div><p>Ruchama, if you have a link I can look at?</p></div>Cameron Kaisertag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/197858372012-10-25T16:48:06Z2012-10-25T16:48:06Zdownloads from websites<div><p>Hi Cameron: Here's a copy of the email. i receive one of

a<br>
pdf. <a href=

<p>You'll note where it says "click here to see the back of the<br>
pattern." The pdf won't download using tenfourfox, but it
downloads<br>
on my other computer using firefox. I am also forwarding you
the<br>
email I received today from the quilt pro site. I am now able
to<br>
download the zip file, but still not the pdf. And it's not only<br>
sewing or other similar sites. We tried to download a job<br>
application from an employer and tenfourfox doesn't work. We had
to<br>
use the thumb drive to download the pdf and then print it using
my<br>
main computer which is linked to my printer and which is the
computer<br>
with tenfourfox.<br>
Hope you can figure this out.<br>

quite slow, but the .pdf does eventually download. Btw, just to
make sure the slowness was not a TenFourFox bug, I tried it on a
Windows machine running "real" Firefox and it is slow there as
well.</p>
<p>On your quiltpro message, I don't see a link there to download a
.pdf I can access. The site itself seems to need registration.</p></div>Cameron Kaisertag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/197858372012-10-26T00:48:27Z2012-10-26T00:48:27Zdownloads from websites<div><p>Cameron: I understand what you are saying, but I'm still a
bit<br>
perplexed. First, the page doesn't download on my main computer,
it<br>
just sits, even though the pdf shows in a box at the bottom of
the<br>
page. I'm guessing this is a combination of the age of my
computer<br>
and the slowness of the Indygo page. It was much faster on my<br>
laptop, but it's not a big deal. However, the fact that the
email<br>
pdf link just doesn't work is not so easy to understand. It
works<br>
perfectly with my "real" Firefox on my laptop. Perhaps my
"real"<br>
Firefox lacks some security feature that is preventing the pdf<br>
download from the site which apparently isn't properly
registered?<br>
That would make some kind of sense. Anyway, I'm using 7400
upgrade.<br>
Would it make any sense to try 7450. It was not possible for me
to<br>
follow the directions to determine which to use. Anyway, when
the<br>
opportunity arises, I'll try some other pdf's and see what
happens.<br>

page, or the .html page?</p>
<p>The machine version may make a difference to your computer's
performance, but it won't change this issue (the code between the
7400 and 7450 versions is very similar).</p></div>Cameron Kaisertag:tenfourfox.tenderapp.com,2012-01-07:Comment/197858372012-10-26T01:29:25Z2012-10-26T01:29:25Zdownloads from websites<div><p>Sorry for the lack of clarity. I go to the Indygo page. I go to
the<br>
specific item, i.e. the pattern. All fine. However, when I
click<br>
the link next to the picture of the pattern envelope front, the
box<br>
at the bottom shows pdf, but the pdf does not download no matter
how<br>
long i let it sit or try double clicking. This does not occur when
i<br>
do the same thing using my "real" firefox on the laptop, which
leads<br>
me to believe the issue must be with my old computer. This would
not<br>
be a problem if it were not for the fact that it happens on a lot
of<br>
other pages as well on my main computer which is the one that
uses<br>
"tenfour" and the main computer is the only one i can print from.
Even so it's not a major issue, just an annoying inconvenience.<br>

says "Connecting..." in the tab). It takes close to a minute, but
eventually the .pdf file appears in my downloads window. Do you see
