"Warning before closing multiple tabs"-feature won't work
... one more minor prob: I switched on the pref to be warned before closing multiple tabs, which used to keep me from accidentally closing the browser with the APPLE+Q shortcut -- when I want to do APPLE+W, my fingers keep slipping to APPLE+Q. Pretty annoying when you are in the middle of a dev job and have a fair amount of tabs, logins, dev tools open.

Hello funtoosh, you need browser.warnOnQuit = true.
browser.tabs.warnOnClose is only for closing windows (clicking the red button), as I understand it.

Hi Chris, just looked it up, warnOnQuit is set to true as well. The
strange thing is that it used to work, and then, all of a sudden,
stopped ... maybe as far back as switching to the olde Namoroka
3.6.28 ... I'm not sure though. Keeps annoying me ,-(
Cheers,

I think you're seeing this bug:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=550559
There hasn't been much motion on it. In general, we mirror Firefox UI with certain notable exceptions, mostly for forward compatibility. I'd like to wait for them to resolve this first. You can vote for the bug if you like.

Cameron, sorry, I hadn't seen that! There's even an add-on to fix it …
I always thought the problem would have to be G4 code related, as it only occurred after I left the official Mozilla distribution channel.
Happy Thanksgiving!
